But you see, you have to, as opposed to living with the alternative and buying a pet for companionship instead. While pets can serve a purpose, instead of becoming the cat lady or the dog guy with twelve of various sizes, I prefer people. A person that can respond to a conversation with words and thoughts to create this that grows as time passes. That exchange of positive energy that makes you look forward to the coming days as it just gets better, as you grow old together. An individual to touch and hold that reciprocates and makes you feel safe. Just the knowing that if the ' Apocalypse' occurs you will be right there back to back fighting to see it through. To see in their eyes what they see in yours, a knowing that what ever happens, come hell or high water. . .. "I am with you till the end of the line". |
